What we collect

We only collect what we need to take your order and stay in touch:

Order details — your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and what you ordered, when you buy a book.
Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (see below). We never see or store your full card number.
Waitlist details — your name and email, if you choose to join our list to hear about new books.
Messages — anything you send us by email or through a contact form.

How we use it

To process, package and ship your order, and keep you updated on it.
To respond to your questions and provide support.
To send occasional updates about new books — only if you've joined the waitlist, and you can opt out any time.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you check out, your payment and card details are handled directly by Stripe under their own security standards and privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your order and your shipping details, but not your card number.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the services that help us run the shop:

Stripe — to process your payment.
Postal and delivery services (such as Cyprus Post) — to ship your book to you.
Our email/form provider — to receive your messages and waitlist sign-ups.

These providers only receive what they need to do their job.

Cookies

Our own website uses minimal cookies and does not run advertising trackers. The Stripe checkout may set cookies necessary for secure payment processing.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet any legal or accounting obligations. Waitlist details are kept until you ask to be removed.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To do any of these, just email bessiebouchier@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our books are for children, but our shop is intended for adults making purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
